Make the Rimworld a dark, traumatic place…
This mod adds dark themes to Rimworld. Pawns can get traumatized and develop harsh conditions like suicidal thoughts or abusive behaviour. Keep your children away from the brutal reality of the Rim or be responsible for a generation of sickness, violence, and depression.
Pawns can get traumatized:
– when they are confronted with a violent death as a child
– when they have to butcher human remains as a child
– if they become witnesses or victims of rape
Traumatized pawns will never be the same. Any trauma can lead to various long-term consequences:
– Pawns develope negative traits like psychopathy, pyromaniac, depressive, abusive behaviour, incestous and so on…
– Pawns develope suicidal thoughts or do self harm
– Pawns do trauma bonding and get into co-dependant relationships… for good or bad…
But here is always a small light of hope:
– even while the trauma will stay, you can fight some of its effects with psychological therapy
